Netdorm, Inc. dba DnsExit.com follows the ICANN Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA) and the Expired Domain Deletion Policy (EDDP) / Expired Registration Recovery Policy (ERRP). This page explains auto-renewal behavior and when a non-renewed domain will be deleted.
The expected lifecycle for non-renewed generic TLDs (e.g., .com, .net, .org) is:
| Window | Days relative to expiration | Registrant action | Status / Fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| Auto-Renew/Grace | Day 0–30 after expiration | Renew via your account at the standard renewal price. | Standard renewal fee applies. |
| Registry Deletion | Expected between Day 31–Day 35 | No action results in deletion at the registry. | Deletion at the registry triggers the Redemption Grace Period. |
| Redemption Grace Period | ~30 days after deletion (approx. Day 31–65) | Restore by request to support; the domain is recoverable during this period. | Redemption/restore fee plus renewal fee. |
| Pending Delete | 5 days after redemption (approx. Day 66–70) | No recovery possible. | Domain is dropped and may be registered by others. |
Expected deletion window (RAA §3.7.5.4 / EDDP): If a domain is not renewed, it will be deleted between Day 31 and Day 35 after the expiration date. This date range does not exceed ten (10) days.
